Here is a slideshow of a few of my images from Suzy and John's Wedding at Flowerfield in St. James, NY on Long Island. This was a very touching wedding with a wonderful couple that are clearly very much in love with each other. I could go on further but I think my pictures will do a much better job of conveying the emotion of the day.

This past weekend, I actually went to a wedding as a guest. Well mostly as a guest...the bride for this wedding is my fiancé's sister and since the photographer for her wedding was not going to be on the party bus, I wanted to take a few pictures of that part of the day. The bride and the bridesmaid on the left were actually already featured in my photo week from January 25, 2010, another party bus image. I made this image using my Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 lens at a focal length of 18mm, aperture of f/2.8, exposure of 1/250th of a second at ISO 6400.

This past weekend I photographed Kerri and James' Wedding at the Harbor Links Country Club in Port Washington, NY. The weather added a dramatic touch to the day as we had a few thunderstorms that at times forced us inside but they subsided in time to have the outdoor ceremony that everyone was hoping for. In the end, it was a fun day filled with emotion and the sort of moments I love to photograph. Here are a few of the images from the day.

Every time I post a slideshow like this I worry that I am leaving out something and inevitably I am. This time I had such a great number of worthy images to select from that I know I had to leave out a lot. I hope this gives everyone a good feel for what was a beautiful and fun day!

Forman-Perry Wedding Slideshow

I recently got to photograph my Aunt Jane's wedding at the Riverview Caterers in Westchester, NY. We also took some pictures earlier in the day at The Tarrytown House Estate where the bride and groom got ready for the day and saw each other for the first time. The bride and groom are both avid fans of Karaoke and so that was a main element of the reception. I had never heard my aunt sing before and was pleased to discover she sounds nothing like me and is very talented! Here are a few images from the day.

Here are some of the images from Kelly and John's Wedding at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Brooklyn Heights and reception at Bubby's in DUMBO. This was a fun wedding that took us all over Brooklyn and offered some really neat scenery. Having an adventurous and expressive couple was a great plus as well.

The other day I had a rare opportunity to just take pictures with no assignment. This was one of the pictures I took of the Brooklyn Bridge. I made this image using my Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II lens at a focal length of 130mm, an aperture of f/4.0, and 1/640th of a second at ISO 100.

This week's photo of the week comes from the Kelly and John's Wedding at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Brooklyn Heights. I made this image just before the bride's father gave her away. I made this image using my Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II lens at a focal length of 185mm, aperture of f/2.8, and exposure of 1/400th of a second at ISO 3200.

Here are some images from Katie and Wasyl's wedding in Astoria, NY and reception at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, NY. It was a fun day that for me started with an enthusiastic greeting from three giant Newfoundland dogs and ended with a goodbye hug from the flower girl.

This week's photo of the week comes from Katie and Wasyl's wedding at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, NY. This was a daytime reception and there was great light coming through the window during the reception. With a little help from the bride's sister we got her two children to sit on the windowsill for a moment. Once there I just let them do their own thing and got some great images of their interaction. This was my favorite. I made this image using my Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens at an aperture of f/4.0 and exposure of 1/500th of a second at ISO 800.

This past weekend I shot Stephanie and John's wedding at Westbury Manor on Long Island. The ceremony and reception were during the day, which resulted in some nice natural light coming through the windows where the guestbook happened to be situated. I made this image of one of the wedding guests writing a note to the bride and groom using my 85 mm f/1.4 lens at an aperture of f/2.8 and exposure of 1/80th of a second at ISO 800.

I got to meet the fun young lady, seen here playing with her mom's scarf, this past weekend and caught this moment. I love the interaction and expression in this picture. I made this image using my Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens at an aperture of f/1.4 and exposure of 1/640th of a second at ISO 800.
