Here are some images from Katie and Wasyl's wedding in Astoria, NY and reception at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, NY. It was a fun day that for me started with an enthusiastic greeting from three giant Newfoundland dogs and ended with a goodbye hug from the flower girl.

This week's photo of the week comes from Katie and Wasyl's wedding at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, NY. This was a daytime reception and there was great light coming through the window during the reception. With a little help from the bride's sister we got her two children to sit on the windowsill for a moment. Once there I just let them do their own thing and got some great images of their interaction. This was my favorite. I made this image using my Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens at an aperture of f/4.0 and exposure of 1/500th of a second at ISO 800.
