Sinkin-Jaffe Wedding Slideshow

Here are some images from Andrea and Harry's New Year's Eve Wedding. The wedding and reception took place at Danford's Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson, NY. An enthusiastic bride and groom, an ice luge, and a great crowd made this a great way to end 2011 and start 2012.

On New Year's Eve, I photographed the Andrea and Harry's wedding at Danford's Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson, NY. It could also be said that I went to a really fun party and brought my camera along and it would not be all that inaccurate! For me, this image really captured the festive atmosphere of the wedding. I made this image with my Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens at a focal length of 70mm, an aperture of f/2.8, exposure of 1/30th of a second, and ISO 1600. For this shot, I used my SB900 Flash on camera in TTL mode with the diffuser dome and feathered one setting back from straight up. Use of the flash allows me to use such a slow shutter speed and still get a sharp image.

Here are a few of my favorite images from Trish and Greg's Wedding at the Infant Jesus Church in Port Jefferson, NY and Reception at Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point, NY. This was a very fun wedding with a very lively crowd.
