My Photos in the New York Daily News

Three of my pictures of fitness model, Carri Lyn Ciamarra, ran in today's print and online editions of the New York Daily News. The pictures also ran on the televison broadcasts of Extra!, Inside Edition, and Fox News' On The Record with Greta Van Susteren. For those of you unfamilar with the story Carri had a relationship with Peter Cook, husband of Christie Brinkley.

You can see these images and read the story, Cook's Foxy Fitness Fling (I don't write the titles) online or on page 12 if you have the newspaper.

UPDATE: These were only licensed to run for 24 hours online and consequently are no longer on the New York Daily News site so I included them below:

Dog Takes Bath and Makes Headlines

I got a little press coverage recently though the article was not about me, but rather Riggs, my canine companion. He made news when I took him to the new dog spa in town here. You can read the June 3rd story from the Vienna Oakton Connection online. I should note that Riggs is a boy dog though referred to using the pronoun "her" in this article. As the article mentions, I did take pictures of this monumental event but not simply to imortalize Riggs. This was actually at the request of the shop owners who were looking for poster-sized images they could print and put in the front windows of the store.

Memorial Day Weekend in DC

I got out to a number of events this past weekend and thought I'd share some of the images with you all. You can check them out in this online album. There are 24 different images and I posted color and black and white versions of each.

So you know the context, the first and last pictures (1 & 24) are of my roomate Gretal who spent most of the weekend napping. Shots 2-5 of the memorials and 6-8 of a local band are from Saturday night. On Sunday, I took some pictures, actually a lot, at the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Parade for awarness of POW/MIA issues (9-15) and then made it to the Viva Vienna Town Fair in time to catch a couple motion blurs of the ferris wheel and rides (16-17). Sunday I went to Arlington National Cemetery and took some of my favorite images from the weekend (18-23). I took a few pictures of George W. there, which I found to be pretty overrated. The people in the crowd were much more interesting.

New York City Panorama

I was out in West New York, NJ (yes, West New York is in New Jersey) a while back and discovered a great view of the city. It also had available on street parking and lower rents than Manhattan. I took a bunch of shots a little after sunset and stitched the separate images together in Photoshop. Here is the resulting image sized to fit your monitor. The full resolution composite file is 38 megapixals and at full size would print to 9 inches high by 6 feet long.
